What working with the studio looks like

Most commissions move through the same handful of steps, whether you are choosing a loose stone, adapting a setting, or starting a ring from scratch. Nothing is set until you have seen the stone and approved the model.

  1. Step 1

    Get in touch

Write to the studio with what you have in mind: a stone you already like, a setting you have seen, or just a rough idea and a timeline. You will get a reply with the questions worth answering before anything is chosen.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the stone

You look at certified lab-grown options graded for cut, color, and clarity, and each one can be traced back to its growth lab. This is the point to compare a few stones side by side rather than settle on the first one.

  3. Step 3

    Settle the design

Solitaire, halo, eternity band, or a plain everyday piece in 18k gold or platinum. The studio models the ring in CAD so you can see proportions and how the stone sits before any metal is cut.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm the fit

Sizing is checked in person at the Palermo consultations, where finger measurements are taken properly instead of guessed from a home printout. If you are not in Buenos Aires, the studio works through the measurements with you remotely.

  5. Step 5

See it before it is set

The stone is shown to you before it goes into the setting, so the final decision is made on the actual piece rather than a rendering. Adjustments to the design happen here, not after the ring is finished.

  6. Step 6

    Receive and resize

Finished pieces are shipped with protection across Argentina and internationally. If the fit shifts later, resizing is handled by the studio, though bands set with stones all the way around take more care than a plain band.

Not sure which step applies to you yet? The starting point walks through the first conversation, and the guides cover stone selection and grading reports in plain language.

Before you commission a piece

A few practical points come up in almost every first conversation at the studio. Here is how the process usually runs, what we need from you, and where the limits sit.

What you can commission

Custom engagement rings built around a stone you choose, plus brilliant-cut solitaires, halo settings, eternity bands, and minimalist everyday pieces. Metal options are 18k gold and platinum. Loose certified stones are available on their own if you already have a setting in mind.

Stone selection and traceability

Every stone is graded for cut, color, and clarity, and traceable back to the growth lab it came from. We go through the grading report with you line by line, so you know what the grades mean before anything is set.

How the custom path works

The sequence is stone selection, CAD ring modeling, then sizing. You review the model before production starts. Resizing is handled afterward, though rings with stones set around the full circumference, such as eternity bands, can only be adjusted within a narrow range.

Consultations and fittings

In-person consultations take place in Palermo, where you can see the stone before it is set. Bring any reference images or existing rings you want the proportions to follow. If you are measuring at home first, note that finger size shifts with temperature and time of day.

Shipping and delivery

Protected shipping covers addresses across Argentina, and international delivery is available as well. Timing depends on the piece and the stone, so it is confirmed during the consultation rather than estimated in advance.

Guides and reading material

Spanish-language guides cover how lab-grown and mined stones differ, care routines for gold and platinum, and how to read a grading report without jargon. They are written to be read before a purchase, not after.

If something here is unclear, the help page covers common questions, and the resources section collects the written guides in one place.

Clarifications before you commission a piece

A few definitions we keep straight so nothing about a stone, a setting, or a fitting gets read the wrong way. These apply to every service on this page.

"Lab-grown" describes origin, not quality

A lab-grown diamond is a diamond. The term only says where it formed, in a controlled reactor rather than a mine. Cut, color, and clarity are graded on the same scales used for mined stones, so the label alone tells you nothing about how a particular stone will look.

"Certified" means a report exists

When we call a loose stone certified, we mean it comes with a grading report from an independent laboratory. The report documents the stone's measurements and grades. It is not a warranty, a valuation, or a guarantee of resale value, and we do not present it as any of those.

Traceability stops at the growth lab

Each stone in our catalog can be traced back to the lab that grew it. That is the full extent of the claim. We do not describe a stone's journey beyond the lab, and we do not attach origin stories to individual pieces.

CAD modeling is a preview, not the finished ring

The CAD stage shows proportions, metal thickness, and how a setting will sit on the hand. It is a design tool, not a photograph of the final piece. Small differences between a render and the finished ring are normal and expected.

Resizing has limits, and they depend on the design

Plain bands in 18k gold or platinum can usually be adjusted within a reasonable range. Rings with stones set around the full circumference, such as eternity bands, are much harder to resize without disturbing the setting. We flag this before you commit to a design.

Shipping is protected, with conditions explained

Protected shipping covers addresses across Argentina and international destinations. The specific carrier, timeline, and customs handling depend on the destination and are confirmed with you before dispatch. We do not quote delivery windows in advance.

If any of these points affects how you want to proceed, raise it during your consultation in Palermo or when you request a quote. It is easier to settle a definition before a stone is set than after.

What you can commission or buy

The studio works across three tracks: certified loose stones, ready settings in 18k gold and platinum, and fully custom engagement rings built from a CAD model. Each stone arrives with a grading report for cut, color, and clarity, and stays traceable to the lab where it was grown.

Certified loose stones

Brilliant-cut lab-grown diamonds graded individually, so you can compare two stones side by side before committing to a setting. Useful when you already have a design in mind or want to source a specific shape.

Best for: choosing the stone first

Custom engagement rings

Stone selection, CAD modeling, and sizing handled in sequence. Solitaires, halo settings, and bezel designs are all built to your measurements, with a fitting in Palermo before the stone is set.

Best for: a one-off design

Eternity bands and everyday pieces

Bands set with stones around the circumference, plus quieter minimalist pieces meant for daily wear. Worth noting: eternity styles are difficult to resize later, so sizing is confirmed carefully up front.

Best for: matching sets and daily wear

Metals: 18k gold and platinum

Both metals are available across the catalog. Gold is softer and easier to adjust over time; platinum holds prongs tighter and suits heavier settings. The choice usually comes down to how the ring will be worn.

Best for: deciding on durability

Sizing and resizing

Fingers change with season and temperature, so measurements are taken in person where possible. Plain bands can usually be adjusted within a reasonable range; stone-set bands are more limited.

Best for: getting the fit right

Consultations and delivery

In-person consultations take place in Palermo. Protected shipping covers the rest of Argentina and international addresses, so a piece can be completed remotely if travel is not an option.

Best for: buyers outside the city
